Riralabs

Company

Built on radar research, built for the field.

01

Origin

RiraLabs was founded by [Founder Name], a radar signal-processing researcher at Imperial College London whose peer-reviewed work developed new ways to find and track many targets at once using networks of small radar sensors.

RiraLabs exists to turn that research into fielded detection and tracking systems for the counter-drone problem, starting with the layer other systems handle worst: resolving multiple small, low-signal targets accurately and in real time.

02

Why now

The threat moved faster than the sensors. Small, cheap, low-observable drones are now flown in groups, and the sites that need protecting (airports, critical infrastructure, prisons, stadiums) frequently cannot use kinetic defeat at all. For them, detection and tracking is the whole system, not a first stage.

Most procurement attention has gone to effectors. The sensing layer underneath them still assumes one target at a time, in clear air, easy to see. That is the gap we work in.

03

Where we sit

Detect, track and cue. RiraLabs does not build interceptors, turrets or munitions. The output is a maintained track (range, direction, velocity, per target) that cues whichever defeat system a site already operates, or that stands alone where kinetic defeat is not permitted.
